The chain, chainset and rear cassette and freewheel are removed. Both derailleurs are left on the bicycle. The chain - cassette or freewheel - chainset - front derailleur and rear derailleur are then given a deep detailed clean using biodegradeable solvents - they are then ressembled and put. back on the bike and everything is relubricated. No Gearing parts are replaced - the gear cables however are replaced where necessary to optimise the operation of the cleaned gearing. Cosmetically this will improve a serviceable set of gears. PLS NOTE 1)If your gears are slipping really badly we advise that you book a free mechanical assessment instead because cleaning your system is unlikely to help in this scenario. 2)If your gearing is covered in rust this is not a service solution that will work - again we advise you book a free mechanical assessment.
